On December 5–6, the ProvidenciaWPB community will gather for our Story Group Retreat—a sacred space to pause, reflect, and explore the stories that have shaped us. Together, we’ll learn the importance of honoring our story, listenig to others, and finding renewel. We will be inspired to experience compassion, honor one another’s journeys, and rediscover the threads of grace, resilience, and belonging woven through our lives.
Whether you’ve been part of a Story Group before or you’re simply curious, this retreat is an open invitation to come as you are.

These experiences are intimate song and story sharing evenings where you get to hear directly from the artists about the music they create. Seating is limited so be sure to get your ticket while they're available.
Daniel Del Russo returns to Wood Hall with brand new tunes, and we couldn’t be more excited that he chose our city to share them in. He’s an amazing lyricist with a gift for soaring, emotional vocals and storytelling that sticks with you.
Drum & Co., fronted by local songwriter Micah Drum, is a band that aims to make people feel something and put out music that makes people feel alive, validated, and inspired.
Our Lady Palms Women's Bible Study will begin meeting every other Monday at 6:00 p.m. at the church. It will be a time of Bible study, potluck dinner, and community with women from both Providencia and Memorial Presbyterian Church. Contact Ashley Murphy for more information.
Join us on Sunday, 11/16, at noon as we partner with PEACE to explore how we can do justice together. PEACE is a faith-based coalition of 27 congregations across Palm Beach County, united to confront serious issues like homelessness and mental health. PEACE harnesses the power of organized people mobilizing communities to push for lasting policy change through listening, research, and direct action.
On Saturday, 11/15, we will be heading over to Tree of Life for a service day from 9:00am to 11:30am. We are also collecting donations for Tree of Life. They are looking for canned cranberries, canned yam, stuffing, and turkey gravy. Please drop off your donations in the Tree of Life box.

Over the last two years, we have had the opportunity to begin actively caring for our intracostal waterway through the Tarpon Cove Island Project. On Saturday, 9/20 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m., we will have our third opportunity to care for the islands and our intracostal wildlife. Memorial Presbyterian Church and Providencia WPB have been asked to provide 15 volunteers for the cleanup. If you are willing and able to join this incredible initiative, please click below to RSVP and reserve your spot.
Groups are returning in February along with some new groups! Mark you calendar for Thursday, 8/28 at 7:00 p.m. for orientation. If you have already been to an orientation and participated in Story Group previously, you do not need to come again. However, if you have been a part of Story Group before and are interested in co-leading or shadowing a leader, please let us know! We look forward to another meaningful semester of listening, connecting, and deepening our experience of community, ourselves, and our God.
As summer comes to an end, we are gearing up for our fall semester of Wednesday night dinner and groups. Join us on Wednesday, 8/27, at 6pm in the downstairs fellowship hall for food and games before we start out our groups the following week. We will be holding a Great Hoedown Bake Off so bring your best baked good to win a prize.
Join us during Clergy Sexual Abuse Awareness Month for lunch and a conversation on creating safe religious spaces, preventing harm, and supporting survivors. Keith and Josh will be serving on the panel.
The following Sunday, 8/24, we will be back at Woodhall during our normal service time. As a special gathering, we will be having a family meeting to discuss important upcoming developments for the church and how they play into our vision. Dinner will be provided.
As we close out our summer series on spiritual practices, we will be heading to George Petty Park on August 17th at 6pm for a potluck to celebrate through the practice of feasting. We will gather at the park in place of our normal service at the church. Sign up below to bring a dish or drinks.

The live action version of How to Train Your Dragon is coming out in theaters this summer. So as a summer fun activity, we are heading to the theaters on Thursday, 6/26 to see it as a community. We will be going to the 6:10pm showing and sitting around rows E and F. Everyone is responsible for buying their own ticket.

Wanna take Story Group to the next level? Led by our very own Dylan Watson, who is serving as a graduate student intern with Bungalow Counseling, this group will invite you to explore the characters in your life, the roles you’ve carried, and the redemptive possibilities waiting in your story. This group will meet on Wednesday nights for 8 weeks starting on June 11th from 6pm to 8pm. Hosted by Bungalow Counseling and provided by Providencia Counseling Collective, this is a free offering over the summer.

For Mother's Day, we are heading to the beach on Palm Beach Island for our Sunday evening gathering. We will NOT be at Phipps Ocean Park where we usually go because it is closed for renovation. We will meet by the flagpole at the end of Royal Palm Way on Palm Beach Island. Worship will begin at 5 p.m. Feel free to come early to enjoy the beach together. Contact us for parking advice. VBS True North 2025 is coming soon! From June 9-13, children ages 4 through completed 5th grade will learn how to trust Jesus in a wild world through an Alaskan themed VBS! Registration is now open! We are looking forward toward celebrating Easter together. On Easter Sunday (4/20), we will NOT be holding our regular service at 5 p.m. Instead, we will be having two morning services. There will be a sunrise service on the beach, south of the clocktower at 6:30 a.m. Look for the white flags. The service will be followed by surf lessons and an egg hunt on the beach. There will also be an Easter service in the church sanctuary at 10:30 a.m., along with Memorial Presbyterian Church. Join us beforehand at 9:15 a.m. for refreshments in the courtyard followed by an egg hunt on the lawn at 10:00 a.m. before service.
Wes and Lani Goodrich will be hosting a potluck for our community, including both Providencia and Memorial, on Palm Sunday (4/13) at 5p.m. Park at South Olive Park and walk over to Rutland Rd. Message us for the exact address. Because of this, we will NOT be having our normal 5p.m. service. We invite you to come to the Memorial Presbyterian service at 10:30a.m. that day and then join us during our normal service time at Wes and Lani's house. It will be a good ole potluck so please sign up to bring a dish by clicking below.
Join us on April 11th at St. Peter's United Methodist Church for a special evening of service! From 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM, we’ll come together to provide free monthly respite care for children with disabilities and their siblings, offering much-needed support to their families. This is a beautiful opportunity to serve, connect, and show love to our community.
If you are 18 and older joining us, please fill this background form out by the morning of Thursday 4/10 at the latest so it can be processed to assure families they are being cared for by safe caring volunteers. You can email it to devon.mayo@gmail.com or bring it Wednesday evening to church with you and give it to Ashley Murphy.

Emily Blaylock, who led worship this past Sunday, works with the Palm Beach County Victim Services and is organizing an event called Healing Through the Arts, a community art showcase designed to raise awareness and promote healing during Sexual Assault Awareness Month. The showcase will be on Saturday, 4/26, from 3-5 p.m. The event is inviting artists to submit works of diverse mediums. No professional artistic background is required to contribute to this awareness event. The submission deadline is 4/1. Submit your pieces through the link below and reach out to Emily with any questions.
